I love writing and am inspired to keep writing because in spite of all the self-development resources that exist, many of us are still concerned about our fit in life; not feeling as if we peacefully exist and want to understand our purpose here on earth.
Soul Say Yes derived after I realized that I was unable to meet others' notions and expectations for my life. So, I started writing to relieve my mind from their chaotic notions and to gain a sense of inward control over my existence. Meaning, to become clear about who God was to me and who I was to God, my creator; also to surrender to his authority and kingdom and learn what plan was in his mind when I was created.
Now Soul Say Yes is only one part of my journey navigating away from the notions and authorities of others and to the one and only authority of my life, God the Father, Jesus, Lord and Savior, and Holy Spirit my comfort and teacher.
Meaning, you will see even in the writings of this book, the birthing of this process as I stumbled through to even understand the dynamics of how I allowed others' notions play a critical role in my actions versus a total surrender to the Spirit of God in the leading and guiding of my life for his sanctification.
Now this does not mean that I am perfect in each and every way because I am far from that and the writing of that book was only the beginning of that break, meaning this journey is not over yet. I am steadily learning every day and making corrections along the way. Oh, yes, those corrections are daily.
As I continue growing in the Lord's way, I love helping others to uncover core relationship issues of their heart, soul and mind to help them strengthen and maximize their true ability to interact and bond successfully not only with others but in the Lord. Of Course, this is why "ABCs of Relationships, Emotional Survival Games," was written. It was written to help us identify barriers along our journey such as emotional survival games we play with ourselves as we interact with others. However, have you ever consider that if we are playing games with ourselves and each other. just how more of games we are playing in terms of our relationship with God, who we do not experience with our five senses? Again another growth spurt but so many more corrections and much more further to go. I am still learning.
"Disaster Among Us," derived out of my experience working as a Clinical director and again as a Clinical Coordinator for residential treatment centers for young children, adolescents, teenagers and young adults. My observation of children without their parents was absolutely heartbreaking. It was even worse when I observed children in a homeless shelter without their parents. Watching the younger sibling been taken into foster care or adoption and the older sibling remain was just too much to observe. So, from those experiences, I have felt compelled to help raise awareness about some of the obstacles the children faced in the absence of their families: so, the goal of writing this book is to help bring a voice to our most vulnerable citizens given the interruptions, discombobulation in their young lives due to adult calamities. illness and or losses.
Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.
